INITIAL CASE CONSULTATION
After an attorney or the Court contacts me to discuss a case (here my client would be the Court or the attorney, not the defendant), my questions typically would include:
- Which legal question/s are most central and pressing to the case?
- What stage of the legal proceeding is the case currently in?
- What gives the attorney or Court reason to be concerned?
- Up to this point, what has been done to address this issue?
If it appears that the case is within my area of expertise, I prepare a letter describing the scope of work and conditions relevant to forensic practice, such as confidentiality and a list of potential collateral records needed for review.
