Welcome

I am a licensed psychologist practicing in Atlanta, Georgia.  In my practice I work with clients who are seeking individual and couples counseling to address problems such as depression, anxiety, self-esteem issues, relationship problems, difficulties in work, and phase of life issues.

I use a collaborative approach to therapy and see it as a partnership or collective endeavor in which I can educate, support, encourage, and guide clients to improve their lives.  Though no guarantees exist and change can be uncomfortable, in my experience patients do get better and consistently achieve the goals they set forth at the beginning of therapy.

A couple of important qualities to look for in a psychologist or therapist are someone you feel comfortable with and their relevant professional training and experience.  I earned my masters degree in Community Counseling and doctoral degree (Ph.D.) in Counseling Psychology from the University of Georgia and have worked with clients for over 8 years on wide variety of problems, but have particular interest in clients with anxiety concerns, relationship problems, and difficulties related to grief, loss, and adjustment to chronic illness.

If you are interested in working together please email me or call my office to set up a brief phone consultation or an initial appointment.  I maintain both evening and limited weekend hours for your convenience.
